soulseek search filter

Since alt.internet.p2p seems rather dead, I'd thought I'd try here (even
though soulseek is obviously not a bittorrent client).

Does anyone know if soulseek (slsknet.org) has a kind of search
filter blocking the use of certain keywords?

For instance, when I search for "Adele", I get no search results whatsoever.
Though when I look up the title to one of her songs at allmusic.com and
search for that, I have no problems finding her music on soulseek.

Is there a list of blocked keywords online somewhere or perhaps
some information about this filter?

Hey,

Yes, some reserved artists are blocked, so won't appear in searches. I heard in the forum Nir, the creator, had done this to avoid copyright issues - unsure whether this had been an owner request or not..?

In my experience you can bypass this by searching album names
