Discussion:
A different "sharing" folder than the download folder?
(too old to reply)

Is there a way of having a seperate folder of things I share?

Or is it set up by default that the folder I download to automatically
becomes the folder I share from?

I am using bitcomet

Thanks!

Couldn't tell you specifically for Bitcomet because I've never used it
but most torrent climates have a facility for moving files to another
folder after they have completed, while continuing to share them. Either
automatically on completion or manually.

Unless someone here knows the specifics of Bitcomet you'd need to look
in the setup/configuration/options are for something like "move files on
completion". For manual moves, it might show up by right-clicking on the
file.

The Bitcomet client has been banned by many trackers in the past - I
don't know what the current status is but you might want to consider a
change of client (for which more help may be available).
