uTorrent Stopped Working ?

I've tried a half-dozen torrents & magnets from a couple different
sites.

uTorrent opens up, but no torrent shows up in it's "Torrents" list.

Tried re-installing and down-leveling from 3.4.9 to 3.4.3, but no
change. In both versions a "Go to Bundles to get torrents" button has
appeared where the torrent list normally is.

uTorrent was working last week... so, except for the "Go to Bundles...."
I have to wonder if it's something with my system.

Anybody else been here?

FWIW, I installed BitTorrent and we're back in business.... no
problems..... and BitTorrent's UI looks remarkably like uTorrent's.

I guess there's a story there....

Ever figure out why utorrent quit working for you?
How do you like Bittorrent compared to uTorrent?
Any advantages or disadvantages?

I find uTorrent works OK but seems slow sometimes to update the number of
seeds and peers. I haven't run into any ad problems, learned how to block
those awhile back.

An important feature for me is searching for new torrents and utorrent
provides a way to do so. It uses yahoo and perhaps several other search
engines. I believe google is now blocking most of those so I don't use it
anymore. How good is Bittorrent's search?

Never looked back.

My use is not sophisticated enough to tell the diff between the two: I
get a web page up, click on the "Get Torrent" button, and then
BitTorrent comes up with a file list and I click OK.

Never thought about Search within the BitTorrent client... got to give
it a try sometime.
